LOVE YOUR HAIR! You look as chic and polished as always. That dress is something I would love to try but as good as it looks on you is as bad as it would look on me. (My legs are not my best feature by a long shot and it would drag on my hips.) But, I'm drooling over your animal print coat, really so fab on you.

As usual I'm late to the party here. Lisa you look fantastic and I think totally nailed the look that you were looking for. Your make up and hair are so chic and modern, the pearl necklace and coat - I want both lol. I tried the denim dress on but it certainly didn't look as lovely as it does on you so it stayed in the store.

The indigo is a great color for you. The length is right on the dress I think because of the opaque stockings/ boots.

You write what many of us think about ourselves but do not write- there is a quirky self-conscious honesty there - always written in a funny self-deprecating way. However just look at these pictures... you are truly fabulous !

I am so surprised at the love for this dress. It's not typically flattering in the figure highlighting way, so I'm glad it looks ok!

Double discount. Occasionally Shoppers has a double discount for Seniors. I think it might be the last Thursday of the month or just once in awhile. I always ask the nice beauty woman (the woman that works in the boutique and is my age) about the special days. She has a special calendar and tells me what is coming up.

Lisa, I am right with you with the lean toward more sophistication and also toward more genuine choices. (I have a haircut next weekend and I'm going to talk to my stylist not so much about what I don't like about this latest cut but about what does not feel like ME.) anyway, what I really love here are: the gorgeous shape of that dress (going to check it out myself) and your long legs peeking out, the judicious use of jewelry (lovely pearls, but interesting ones), and that unusual coat, with again an interesting shape. Slam dunk.

With a face, body and style sense like yours I am surprised you do not indulge in dressing, in outfits, in adorning yourself more. Everything must look good on you. I adore the jeans dress and the leopard coat. Looking terrific in my opinion.

I think you look wonderful, and I'm with all the posters who say you're being too hard on yourself. Sure, half the photos you snap of yourself aren't as flattering as the ones you post, but when someone sees you in real life they get your real-life aura that enlivens your look. Does that make sense? I'm way too hippy to wear that dress but it gives me the idea that perhaps I could wear a short shirtdress that's a little more shaped...

My secret is bodyshapers. Takes one size off me and holds my tummy in without discomfort. Just so you know I am cheating haha.

Hmm, I would have sworn I already commented on this thread but something must have gone wrong. Anyway...I really like this outfit on you. The necklace is great. I wear my denim dress in a similar way, mine actually has a belt but I usually wear it without and it gets a surprising amount of compliments. I'm always a tad surprised, as you are, since it's fairly shapeless without the belt.
