First WIW: Errands and Chores

I fell in love with this blazer in target even though its not a color I ever wear but for some reason I love it here. Then the blazer sat in my closet for a while because I couldn't figure out what to wear it with. Still don't love this outfit, it needs something I just don't know what.

Gorgeous colour on you Gabi - I can see why you fell in love! I have serious jacket envy going on!
I like how you've styled it...I can offer up some thoughts:
white shirt or tee underneath
jeans on the bottom - - unbutton the jacket and show off a great belt...so many possibilties

Beautiful jacket, lovely color on you. I kind of like the minimalist look you have going here!! Not sure it needs anything. But, options if you wanted to add something:

1) A cuff bracelet (this would be more subtle but would work)
2) A day clutch in leopard or zebra print, or other fabulous bag.
3) A belt in animal print or a contrasting pop of color or metallic (would require some tucking and wearing of jacket open, not closed.
4) A scarf with a pattern.
5) You might also be able to get away with a collared shirt under your black top. Pop the collar. Allow cuffs to show. White would be nice.

I really like this color on you. I'd love to see it with a cuff or belt, and maybe with booties instead of tall boots.

If you're not loving it, it's because you haven't quite made it feel like you yet. Because for the rest of us looking at it, it looks fantastic.

Do you normally prefer more accessories? Would a swishy black A-line skirt suit your fancy better? Or a sleek pencil skirt?

You could style it with dark jeans and Converse or oxfords, or throw in a dash of purple if you want to up the colour even more.

You could try a black and white print for either the top or the bottom. Or any of Shiny's great suggestions.

If all else fails, pack it up and send it to me. I promise to give it a good home.

That jacket is fantastic on you! Gorgeous colour.

Where did you get it? What is it?

(I ask in this greedy way because I bought a really cheap H&M knit jacket that I'm wanting to upgrade to something a bit more durable and it is fuchsia...I have found that I can wear this jacket with just about anything else, which astonishes me!

I like this outfit as you have styled it! But naturally, you could combine with man other different tops and bottoms for a change.

That jacket is positively gorgeous on you Gabi - both fit and colour! You've received some great suggestions for other ways to wear it but honestly, this outfit is fabulous on its own. Congrats on your first WIW!
