To get out of the way: When I was first lurking and looking at WIW, my brain kept seeing "WWI". Because I. love. World War I. Yeah.
What I wore for Christmas shopping, other errands, and searching for some black Mary Janes or scarlet booties that are neither too high or too low. Didn't find exactly what I wanted.
Even though (I think) I wear most grays quite badly, a turtleneck or scarf keeps it away from my face so I think it's alright.

About camera height: I'm a bit anal about keeping body proportions visually correct, but I put it around the average woman's eye level; I'm pretty tall ^^
