I thought I should just jump right in before I lose my nerve. These are WIWs to work from the last few days. I work in a very conservative, business casual environment; blue jean on Friday. These are both very much in my comfort zone. My style goals are to add a little more interest by adding some edgy or boho elements to my very classic style. I have been trying to add some jackets to my wardrobe to do this but must remember to wear them!
#1 - GAP Chambray shirt which I love, LOFT white skinnies - I tried on some longer Paige white skinnies the same day and I think I should have gone with those instead as I'm not loving the length, ME TOO perforated slip-ons in nude from Nordie's which I can't recommend enough.
#2, 3, 4 - all oldies out of my closet, GAP flared jeans, top with pin-tucks around the neck from Macy's which is something I think they carry every year, B&W scarf as a belt, B&W sandals, fun earrings. Overall I'm like this outfit. It's on the fun side for me with a little boho/70's influence? I've learned from this site not to buy slacks with side pockets which I don't care for in these jeans. I also have patterned belts on my shopping list but thought the scarf would add some interest for now.
#5 - my little fashionista who I think looks a little edgy even in pink. We've determined she's a pear although that is mainly due to the bulk of her diaper.
I'd love your input!
