You are an impressive Queen Copy Cat.

What everyone else said. You look like you're having an absolute blast doing this, and your photos convey that sense of fun so well. Now I want to copycat the copycat.

This was so enjoyable to see! I love how you imitate the stance of the original. So many of the outfits were almost identical...amazing!

Queen Copy Cat for sure! I love how you take outfits from Pinterest and make them your own. Make that Queen Creative Copy Cat!

I am inspired by you but also feel like I need to rest after seeing these - your energy and wardrobe is BOUNDLESS! I need to USE my Pinterest boards more! You're amazing, MaryK!

I appreciate all the kind words, but honestly -- I feel like using my Pinterest boards and copying outfits is the lazy woman's road to style! LOL If I really had all that energy I'd think 'em up myself!

But really, when it's 10:00 at night and you need to look good in the morning, Pinterest is your best friend!

I am just flabbergasted! I wanted to keep track of my favorites, but I just got dizzy with fabulosity. Will come back and study.

What a great post! So funny about Pinterest being the lazy woman's road to style. I think copying YOU is every woman's road to style! Thanks so much for sharing. EVERY outfit is just fabulous.

Stupendous! I love how much fun you have copying these outfits and bringing your own flavour to the looks. I've been on Pinterest for a while now and have been asking myself "why" do I pin these looks and not use them? I think I'm working my way up to trying some copying...you are truly inspiring Mary

My wardrobe is so limited (by choice) that copying is hard! My outfit on Saturday was a copycat of one of Angie's recent color schemes! I think I have copied Pinterest looks twice, and both times I had to buy a piece to do it!

You are amazing. I really admire how you can copy, but make each outfit work for you.

What a treat! I don't have the depth of closet or depth of Pinterest board to take on this challenge but really enjoy seeing how you use the inspiration. Your outfits always show your own touch.

Actually #29 was one of my favorites, no failure! In #24 you outshine the pin, hands down. All so inspiring. Thanks for posting them all in one place.

This is a visual feast. One of the things I love about it, is that even with an expansive palette and all kinds of color mixing, there is a consistency to the silhouettes which work for you which makes the outfits hold together well. Also, even when working with pins, you are looking at the edges where colors touch and how they interact as shapes and with accessories, so it's truly a visual re-imagining, not just plug and play. I also like how you use pinterest as a practical utilitarian tool, not just an aspirational one.

Also I think it's great how many specific shades/tones of colors you have found that work with your coloring, which allows you thefreedom to endlessly combine and recombine. Sometimes I think about the fact that I've never tried to own a yellow piece of clothing for example and wonder if habit more than anything else is holding me back.

Let's do it MK

I already have a board dressing in the morning and things to copy, but I would need to take pics to prove I do it

I donot copy per se,(at times I do:)) But I choose the color scheme and copy them.

You ladies are all so kind!

Denise, speaking of #24, that one illustrates that I am totally spatially challenged and have the hardest time re-creating the poses in the original photos! In that one I got the legs right but then I turned my head in the wrong direction! LOL

Anybody who wants to join in, just... join in! Post your own copies any old time you like! Can't wait to see them!!!

You are totally amazing! Great job! (Well, except of course for #14, where you're holding your bag all wrong... )

Do you pin thinking "I can copy this" or do you pin things you like, then the copying comes later?

I've started doing this a bit, but can't possible do it as frequently as you do. So I'll join you maybe once a week. It is fun.

Elizabeth, #14 is TOTALLY bugging me because I am indeed holding my bag all wrong!

I mostly pin things I think I can copy with what's on hand. But I also pin things I like, for horizons-broadening inspiration. Sometimes I have something on my board for a very long time before I get around to copying it.

And I pin way way more outfits than I could ever wear.

well, i think it takes a lot of imagination to take these pins and translate them into real life, with what's in your closet!

I greatly admire the way you interpret these looks! My favourites are 8, 17, 26 and 36!
I would love to play! I'll post tomorrow!

I just had to add my applause to this, MaryK. Pinterest should pay you, because I've been really 'meh' about it until now. I'm just so blown away by your ability to translate a look into your own...and the rollicking fun you bring to fashion! Many thanks for this!

MaryK, I've always found your outfits so fun and inspiring! This, especially is a treat for me to see! Thank you for sharing your copycat outfits! Not only do you look fabulous, but you are quite entertaining with the copycat poses as well! Although you say you have "no originality", you still put your own style signature and vibe in these copied outfits! I can't wait to see more!!!!!

omg - you must have a huge closet to be this creative/copycaty! well played.

Mary K, as a fellow pinner who has been known to be scrolling away in the wee small hours, I totally agree with your philosphy. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Or at least don't mix it up too much. Your colourful sense of fun is one to be greatly admired!

So great and I love how you are mimicking the pose as well. How fun!

Love it - I'm going to cut out the middleman and just copy you.

Queen Copy Cat! Such an inspiration!!

I love them all. seriously. and in many cases your outfit was better than the model's. more wearable in real life

two things stand out to me: you can wear any colour and you have a HUGE wardrobe
pls forgive lack of punctuation on busy commuter train

I might give this a go, it's inspiring

Oh my word. This is what I call fun with fashion. Your inspiration pics are wonderful and your interpretations are even better. Your picture poses make this one of my favorite posts ever. You inspire us all!
