Happy Oscars Day (and GO HUGHY!!)
We are still having consistently hot weather in Oz, so it was nice to wear something 'new'.
This Maxi dress was given to me by a dear friend who has recently been through breast cancer, and subsequent lymph swelling in her arm. She will be unable to wear clothing that is in any way tight in this area, and very kindly gave me this dress
I felt a little exposed up top so layered my cotton lace T.
Added pic of my decorated nail too.

Lovely how the lace picks up the pale colour, and mimics the pattern in the dress.

The print on the dress is just beautiful, and I love how it is reminscent of the design of the lace. An unexpected but beautiful pairing of elements. You look lovely!

Lyn I really like the lacey top over the patterned dress. It creates interest and I think a very attractive pattern mix. Love the nails!

Can I ask where your shoes are from? I think I may have seen them or similar in Macarthurs Shoes the other week. They are really gorgeous.

Thanks Lyn, I saw a very similar pair the other day but cannon recall the brand. Im not surprised you receive compliments on them because they are so stunning and just that little bit different without being over the top.
