Actually it's not a challenge; it's just something I decided to do  The idea is to wear a piece out of my holiday capsule every day between now and Christmas, even if I'm just staying at home. Also did /do not want to default to a black bottom or top with everything .   Nothing terribly fantastic about these outfits, but I'm having fun figuring out what I'll wear and how, and I have to say that I feel really good about being dressed nicely at home.  Scent, makeup, and jewellery chosen specifically for the outfit makes things feel almost normal in the world. Almost.

Monday - at work.  Stretch velvet blazer, black jersey sleeveless fitted top (Eileen Fisher , black wide leg pants (Lulu OTF) black leather sneakers (Nike) , layered necklaces (Jenny Bird and Club Monaco) .

Tuesday -  at home .  Washed black cigarette jeans (Gap) , green sequinned t (H&M)  and a cashmere blend  cardigan  (Lord & Taylor) .  Emerald green "jewel" earrings - Lovers Tempo. Pompom mule slippers - BR.

Wednesday - groceries, errands  and around the house .  cashmere blend sweater - White Stuff UK, jeans that I cut off 2 minutes before leaving the house - Levis, boots - Sam Edelman, jacket - Topshop, scarf - Echo.  Star earrings - Lovers Tempo Note : this is my least favourite of the three as I’m never sure how I feel about the sweater . Every year at this time I want a red sweater and can never find one that feels like me . This is a little twee for my preferences but I’m trying to find ways to wear it . The teddy coat is always a struggle as it’s a size too big plus the colour is weird - but it’s ridiculously lightweight and comfy and easy to wear .

Thoughts, comments , jokes, always welcome !  Pics are intentionally overexposed because it's so cloudy and gloomy this week and my bedroom is quite dark at the best of times.
