If you all knew me you'd realize this is all kind of hilarious for me. I settled on everything but the top in my previous post. I just didn't have anything sparkly or sexy. Then DD and I had the idea for me to wear my new linen tee. I was hoping it would strike a kind of rocker vibe. When my colleague, the deathlessly beautiful Maria, said to me "Look at you in your graphic tee," I felt I'd done well!
I danced. I wasn't expecting for my colleagues to try to get me drunk, but they tried their hardest, buying me these insane drinks which I barely tasted. Luckily I know my limits.
I had fun. I knew they were there because they loved me. I got home at 11:59. I think on the whole it's best to continue my policy of not going out on the town with colleagues! But with just 3 days to go, it was all right.
As usual, it helps in a new situation to feel good about one's attire!
