Why is it so hard to find cute *and* comfy canvas flats to replace my worn ones? The search is beginning to wear me down!

Why is it so hard to find a statement necklace that I love to round out my summer work-wear capsule? I tried one on in store today and it definitely made a statement- not sure it was one I wanted to make, though!

Why is it so hard to find printed tops featuring the shade of orange I'm looking for? A few weeks ago I couldn't find any orange at all- zilch- nada (solids or prints).

So, what are you all having a hard time finding?

I agree! I found the perfect spring/summer blazer and now I can't seem to find any tops that look good under it.

Oh, the list is endless. But a lovely midi - skirt, or dress would make me so happy, especially if I didn't have to spend my savings to get it! And I swooned over the jacket from Nordstrom which was mentioned as the last item in Angie's blog, but being in Canada, a weird size and no free returns, I just couldn't do it. Boo!

Structured but cropped summer toppers with short sleeves or 3/4 sleeves that can be rolled.... in plus size. It's too hot here for denim jackets. boo hoo

Bj1111: if you're in the US - have you tried Kohl's? I find good but not boring layering pieces there, especially in their Vera Wang line.

Good quality basic replacemnts.
Most of my clothes are for work ( 90% of my life is at work ) I have a capsule of clothes that I rotate untill they fall apart. I needed basic black and navy trousers to replace the worn ones. It took me months to find good quality, fit and price. Now I want a couple of button down shirts with long sleeves can I find them oh no!

Clothes that fit and look reasonable on me in general, in a price that I can afford.

More specifically I'd like a colored blazer in a light fabric, a pair of "business" trousers, and some alternative to jeans. I am kind of sick of wearing jeans nearly every single day, but my choices seem to be that or icky polyester.

I'm going to visit my family in a few weeks -- I am looking forward to the greater selection of plus-sized clothing in America! How sad is it that the highlight of my vacation may well be hitting the thrift stores?

And a perfect white v-neck shirt, not too low, not too high, not too boxy, not too pricey. Eek.

Tee shirts that are not made out of translucent shrink wrap. I'd rather not have to wear a cami in 100 degree weather with 90% humidity, thank you.

- Sundresses that are not designed for someone with a 4 foot long torso and the arms of a body builder. Every dress I try on lately seems to have huge arm holes and gapes at the chest.

- Non-frumpy lower heeled shoes (I think we've discussed this a lot before)

- Sundresses that I can wear a normal bra with. When it is really hot I do not want to be fussing around with a strapless bra!

Cute flats that fit my feet. I have long, narrow feet and I can't wear ballet flats or anything that doesn't have at least one strap to hold my foot in the shoe.

I'm also on the hunt for decent short sleeved or sleeveless (but not spaghetti strapped) tops for summer. I saw a LOT of very ugly ones yesterday in the stores but not one that I thought had an attractive print or colour combo. What gives?

Primary colours! I want a red blazer and a green blazer, and everything leans orangish/coral or teal. I suppose that's spring for you, but it is frustrating. I am also frustrated that despite their supposed popularity (and my love for them), midi-dresses are so hard to find.
