I have one pair of black skinnies, and I love them, but this wide-leg pair from a suit win in terms of figure flattery. Paired with a waist-emphasizing faux-wrap top that's about 5 years old. This outfit is not trendy, but it sure is flattering! At least, I think so.
Speaking of not-trendy, I've been rocking my Grandma's pearls lately. Love.
And the shoes were the result of an exhaustive search for comfy, stylish black flats. I have wide feet, but not all throughout the foot, so I generally buy medium widths that are cut with a little more room in front. These rubbed my toe a little at first but now they are broken in and super comfy. The teeny wedge and pointy toe keep them from making my legs look stumpy, and the patent trim makes me smile.
