Festive challenge: Week 3 - YouLookFab Forum

Better late than never, I hope!

This is the third week of December, worn to work. Late posting because on Friday I left to join my mother, my two siblings, and my four nieceviews at my family home. Thirteen of us under one roof for the season... total chaos, and a whole lot of fun.

I lightened up, but the red didn't come out until I was at Mum's place... and didn't take photos.

1. Sparkly cobalt and black striped sweater, leather leggings, EF cardi.

2. Sparkly vest and lotso black. We had snow, had to bring out the pants that tuck into boots.

3. The greige sparkly sweater again. this time with ON navy velvet leggings.

4. Fuzzy BR sweater

5. Silver metallic sparkly sweater for the last day of work. Worn with my new J. Crew wide leg jeans.

Was hoping to get out my black velvet pants again, but the weather was not cooperating.

Any and all comments and suggestions are always welcome. And I hope all of you are having a wonderful "festive season"!

I like 2, 3 and 5 best: especially the sparkly edged vest in 2, I would love to own that, and also the silver metallic sparkly for the last day of work. We have been at home but went to SIL's for Christmas lunch with 12 of us, she did a great job, we all brought food. You have encouraged me to do a post for my last days of work as well, hopefully.
I love your style- I can really relate to it with the grey hair, the earrings, and the proportions. I wonder if maybe you are somewhat short like me? I'm only about 5 foot 1 these days and like to have some of my tops finishing about where most of yours are. Proportions are good. But I think I'm more apple-shaped around the middle than you

Anchie, my skin IS cool toned. I don’t look great in any greys, as they wash me out. However... this is somewhat counteracted by shine or sparkle.

You have a great festive wardrobe. I like 2 3 and 5 best and would like to see the shoes in 5 worn with the sparkly top and pants in 3. Also the sparkly top with white jeans.

Thanks Elizabeth! You are definitely taller- by 5 inches! And slimmer. But I love your proportions where your tops finish. I will have to study these more. I am moving towards my tops being shorter than the tunics I wore for years which I have fewer of now. Cheers.
