Well, as I now remember, I think at the end of November that dressing in a festive way is a great idea for December, but when it's time to put my money where my mouth is, it feels too early. So I had to start off gently.
I generally keep this for work outfits, unless there is an occasion.
1. Just to make a liar out of that previous statement... this was worn on a Sunday, figured it was time to bring out the red. Plus I want any excuse (ie the right weather) to wear my new shooties
2. Work... the sweater has slight shimmer in it.
3. Work... just red, no sparkle.
4. Work... we had our office lunch on a Friday, which is generally "casual day". So wore black jeans and this sweater with sequins on the front.
5. Saturday night... we have a tradition of spending an evening with a good friend prior to Christmas, and the girls help trim her tree. No shoes cuz I knew I'd be shoeless in her house.
I feel like this was a good ramping up week... met the challenge in a subdued way, amped it up when there was good reason to, and should be more ready next week to bring out more bling.
