I saw this skirt in Angie’s finds recently and was taken with the moody palette and butterfly print (I’m always a sucker for a good butterfly print!), so I ordered it to try.
While I was at the Rack picking up the purchase, I also spotted this Tahari skirt. Similar palette but different vibe (and at $20 a steal). They both came home with me to try out with various tops and footwear. The AllSaints is really pretty but so creased from packaging that I need to steam it out before evaluating it. The Tahari is not as luxe a fabric but the fit is nice and for the price I wouldn’t fear wearing it casually.
I’ve always liked the rich brown and blue color palette and am enjoying its return. It’s got me reevaluating the role of brown in my wardrobe. I especially like that these skirts both have black in them as well, so I can always pair them with my many pieces of black footwear and my black tops.
Anyone else feeling the return of brown?
