This is something that bothers me about myself. I wear some makeup every day, but the amount varies. Some days I'll go heavier on the eye makeup, some days I leave the house without even mascara, but if I haven't smeared a little foundation around my nose and chin to even out the skin tone, I *do* feel naked. And I wish I didn't. My skin is not flawless, but it's not bad -- yet it does look nicer with a touch of foundation and blush in strategic areas, and since I've been applying them nearly every day for my whole adult life, I can't help but feel that my face is incomplete without them. And this seems wrong, wrong, wrong on so many levels.
I used to laugh at women who would scramble out of bed before their partner woke up in order to apply their eye makeup...but I almost never leave the house without at least my "under-nose" foundation. How is that any better??
End rant. Anyone else have similar issues? I guess I'm looking for company here.
