Favorite colors to wear with olive green

Since olive/military green seems to be very popular for the upcoming fall/winter season; I was wondering what your favorite color combination with it are? I mean true colors, not neutrals.

I personally like with all shades of purples, deep pinks and berries; and sometimes with a bit of bright red or yellow as an accent.

Fuchsia, citron, cream and black - if you are me.

If you are Jean - earthy browns and burnt oranges.

Others like to mix in a deep red.

If you are Tanya - all shades of purple :0)

And I'm paying attention because Maya feels I probably should be wearing the same colors as Tanya. Purples with olive green sounds good to me!

Plum/eggplant is one of my absolute favorite colors (a wedding color, even!) and I think it looks perfect with olive/army green. Actually, Olive is one of my other favorites! I have lots of things in that color.

I also like pale pink/rose/mauve and cream, even though you said no neutrals! =Þ

I have seen others rock teal with olive but I haven't tried it myself yet. I also think orange works well. I wore an orange top with an army green cami under it recently and I liked it, and got a lot of compliments.

I'm going with Mac. I love dark blue with olive green. It's a pretty combination.

I tried purple with the NAS seamed Halogen skirt in bronze olive, but it seemed to emphasize the gold in the skirt and gold and purple make me think of my college colors. :O

I like to experiment with gradations of green. I find it so interesting to pair a lighter spring green or apple green with olive or bottle greens.

I consider it a neutral, and I can't think of a color that I wouldn't wear with olive green.

Awe yes this has been one of my all time favorite colors. I like it with navy blue, black, cream, marigold yellow, and the color of boots that Angie's sister in law took home to the UK.

Love, love, LOVE fuschia with olive green - one of my all time fave combos.

Angie - would love to try citron with olive green...but I don't know if I could wear citron? Am intrigued.

I have a pair of silky olive green cargo clamdiggers and I have been wearing them with purple, fuschia and black tops. Mostly black, I admit - I know, very adventurous of me. And now that I have those blowfish sandals, I see more black tops being worn with these particular pants! Tanya, thanks for starting this thread - it's helping me expand my horizons - at least theoretically:)

I'm fascinated reading this thread and I'm taking mental notes. I gave up on olive green a while ago, and maybe now is the time to try again? I like it with cream or some shade of red or orange. But you said no neutrals. Hmm. Some kind of green shade? Citron sounds super intriguing actually.

I wear shades of pink or purple - like Tanya - in fact my first post ever here involved what to wear with my olive skinny cargos from BR (I got them YEARS ago) and that's what Tanya told me to wear with them so that's what I did

But I have also worn a shade of lime green with an olive sweater coat and it looked fab, in an edgy way. Like San, I like chestnut brown with olive, and taupe as well.

Thank you all so much for your responses, it has been very helpful! I can certainly see all the possibilities now and I hope it has helped others as well. The only reason I said no neutrals was that I could see olive working pretty well with any neutral, but those responses were great too.

Laura, you have great memory! I remember that post too! ( now I feel nostalgic for our first YLF year).

I love to wear shades of pink, aqua, and orange. Olive is one of my favorite neutrals and honestly, there probably aren't many colors that wouldn't go with it.
