Red (and white stripes), mid-purple (in the past, I loved this combo), the right pink and then the neutrals (cream, denim and black).

For my brunette friends, I LOVE deep blue-violet with rich olive and bottle greens--the combination makes me think of irises. For me, it's dusty olive green with pale pinks and lilacs, which reminds me of moss roses.

How funny to see a 4-year old thread resurrected! Thank you for the input ladies, all great ideas

I used to have a business travel wardrobe capsule using olive, chocolate brown, and mid to deep purple for all tops and bottoms. Variations of green and purple for tops. Heaps of bright jewelry and some very feminine floral scarves with pink and purples and some white for the face.
Not a trace of black back then.
It was a little different, even if everything stayed in classic territory.

The only olive colored item I ever owned was a lace tee from Victoria's Secret. I gave it away bc I could never think of what to pair with it.... Too bad I didn't think of purple!!!

Olive green works as a neutral color for me.
I love it with lavenders, purples and coral but it goes with most colors.
I try to avoid olive green with brown because that looks like a tree to me.
