This is a super easy fast fallback outfit that I wear all the time. Black skinny ponte trousers, soft patterned pussycat bow blouse with the ends worn loose in a single knot, low pumps or booties, and a black tote. I may throw on a jacket or wear solid jeans (loose skinny or slim straight/boot cut.)
Today's interpretation of that formula involved the same black NYDJ ponte skinnies, my burgundy patent pumps with a gold buckle, and my burgundy pussycat bow blouse with bright floral print, one of my workhorses from this year's Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.
Lucy wanted to pose by the accessories.
I have included a version with a suit jacket for comparison of how I dress this up for a more professional look.
