“Wear those white pants” she said, “with a blazer, a floofy or maxi blouse, or with animal prints and colors.”

Clear enough. But after going through my processor/ closet, this is what came out.

No blazer. I don’t have structured toppers (but should probably get some).

A floofy blouse, worn with pink pants, because I thought it was just too matchy with the white. (But pink pants and pink sandals together was apparently not too matchy). I put a sweater on after dinner. Can you see my bling? There is a sparkly pin in my hair. ETA—pix didn’t load in expected order. These are at the end.

A summer sweater.

Another summer sweater. Shiny gold headband in my hair. Really not good at doing what I’m told, lol.

I don’t have any animal prints right now. This tank top with the bamboo jungle is as wild as things get. I started out with it tucked in to show off the flowers on my belt, but halfway through the day decided I liked it better untucked. It’s short enough that the belt is still visible, but my tummy doesn’t look so round. The shirt I wore as a topper (NOT needed after 10 min) comes a little closer to those classic earth tones. And look how long the tail is! I can do that maxi stripe outfit from a week or two earlier after all.

The only one that didn’t make it out of the house is this swingy purple top. I wore it with my white pants a week before the post went out, so popped it back on for a pic—it’s the closest I got to any of the variations.

Looking at these together, Angie’s point yesterday is really clear—that curved bottom line on the orange sweaterlette is much more flattering than the others.

Comments and suggestions appreciated.
