Ok I’ll have to go and look her up too. Your hair is an amazing colour. I hope to get as silvery one day and goes so well with the earrings. You look great . I wouldn’t call myself an extra type generally but maybe I should try and find a way to add a little bit extra to my style.

Not too much- and love the suit on you! I'll leave the extra to you- I need to keep everything as simple as possible these days

If you're on board for extra, I think you would love this blog: http://www.jtouchofstyle.com You may be aware of the practice of choosing a theme word for a year, and for a whole year, hers was EXTRA, and she was never the same after.

As a fellow maximalist, I am looking forward to seeing how your style evolves!

You had me at pearls
Looks lovely, my favorite is the last one - casual elegance. J'adore!

Hope you don’t mind me adding my extra to your post I added brooches to my sneakers.

Thank you Bijou! If it looks like me it is not too extra!
Sally - Thank you! Sometimes one more thing is just the thing.
suntiger - Thanks! I hear you.
Violet Wilkins - Thanks - I'll check it out. Hope to see your maximalist style!
Irina - Thank you - I feel like I may have finally grown into my pearls.
Nikki - Don't mind at all. They are fabulous!

Most definitely not too much ... just the right amount of extra. You look fantastic and wear extra detail beautifully. There are too many pieces here that I love so just giving it a blanket YLF! x

Yes, and why not? Loved you challenged yourself and performed brilliant in all 3 with the extras. I've just looked up on Simone Rocha and now understand what you pointed out about that "she manages to make a lot of traditionally feminine elements and style them in a way that does not speak to traditionally feminine roles but rather, at least to me, points to a way of dressing that is creative and independent without referring to traditionally masculine pieces". And, forgive me for that, but I still think your hair is your best Simona Rocha accessory!:-)

That is an interesting and spot-on analysis of Simone Rocha! I know what you mean about being in a style funk in part due to stressful circumstances and situations beyond your control. Sometimes loungewear is all that can be managed :). But these are beautiful, classic Jaime looks, in my estimation. I think you can definitely handle even more EXTRA, if you want to go there! To me, Simone Rocha is all about the oversized, voluminous, exaggerated silhouette, with the ruffles. But, as you say, the overall look manages to be subversive, not traditionally feminine, because it's so extreme.

What a great idea! I have a minimalistic style and often forget about accessories. I keep wanting to wear more jewellery. I am going to try that as my Extra.

Thank you all! I am especially happy that my description of SR's style resonated!
Helena - You are absolutely lovely as ever!
lyn67 - I am just delighted that my description made sense to you (although I had to resist an urge to edit it as I reread it on your post )!
Jonesy - Thank you for appreciating and refining what I was trying to say! I am so pleased!
Style Fan - Yes, just adding one extra piece of jewelry has been a bit of a revelation to me!
