I tried something new today. I pulled out 2 of my lesser worn heavier bracelets and tried putting them together. Both DY. I used to prefer gold, but got into mixed metals when I started buying mixed DY items. And as my coloring has changed with age, I usually prefer white gold. The bangle with the black stones is heavier than my other bangles and is almost a forgotten item, but I have new ideas and will wear it more. The pink color is a reflexion of the henley tee I was wearing.
This combination is too heavy for around the house, but would be fun to wear to a dinner party. Someday. They needed a bit of work with a jewelry cloth when I took these photos. I will clean them up and put them away.
I'm glad to see henley style tops are back. I bought a couple of them at a Macy's sale and tried the pink one for the first time today. What do you do with a henley neckline when it's still chilly and you need a sweater or jacket? After some trials, I put on a Boden sweater and my trusty N+Z cardigan, that I just pulled out of a stack of warmer-weather sweaters in my drawer. Not a wrinkle in it.
Tomorrow is my last bracelet day--something different than you've been seeing.
