Experience with brand City Chic?

Today's blog posting shows a brown moto jacket from brand City Chic.

In general their sizing is too big for me but I prefer a roomy shoulder fit in jackets and their smallest size of 12/xxs just might work for me, especially in this cropped style. I've been looking for a while for a leather or faux leather jacket in this color. The sleeves do not have zippers so shortening them would be easy if needed.

Do any of you have experience with this brand as far as sizing, quality, customer service? The return policy as stated seems reasonable. There was one review for this jacket that said it had a chemical smell and the buyer was not too happy with the customer service (but said nothing about whether they were able to return it). The only other review said "perfect".

I think one of my clients likes and wears the brand.

Thanks Angie! I did find that moto jacket on Anthro's site but in the brown it's sold out in all the but XS (regular) size - but it would have been just the thing. Maybe I can find it somewhere else.

I have owned only one thing, a pair of jeans in NZ size 14 which is US size 10. Because of my weight loss they are now too big and are in the donate pile.
I bought in-store and didn’t need to try returning because they were perfect. Dark wash, beautifully soft denim described as “butter denim” - soft as butter??- by the brand.
I wore them 83 times.

I have 3 dresses from city chic that I have posted on here. They are theoretically too big for me if I was to go by sizing. Two dresses are a size 16 NZ and one is a size 18 and I am considered a size 10 to 12 (these are all nz sizes) in dresses generally but I find the shoulder line still fits me and instead of a tunic dress it becomes an oversized architectural dress. I get lots of compliments on the dresses whatever size I am. I don't count wears but I have had 2 dresses before from city chic in the same style and I wore them to the ground. The zip went on one and the other got worn down (I even wore it swimming in the sea once when I forgot my costume....I used to wear it anywhere). The one that got worn down, I have replaced with a replica. So my experience is with one style. I didn't really buy anything else there even though I live near the outlet shop. I think a lot of their styles were too dressy for me and even when I was bigger and looking for roomier clothes because of my bust, their styles didn't really resonate with me and I used to go to TS (take shape) for tops. The style I like seems to have gone out of production and I might have to get a tailor to make one for me next time I run them into the ground. Sorry for the rant....to put it briefly the dress I have loved and worn the most is from city chic but I have only worn that. Customer service was always good but that would vary with countries I suppose. That jacket you like looks great and I am guessing it would be roomier than one in the same size from an outlet that catered to smaller sizes if you know what I mean.
