Example of yellow blazer: does it work on me?

OK, so I stopped by my local Good Will store, to check out the color yellow, and lo and behold, there was a yellow blazer! Very 80's, and not quite as bright a mustard/ curry color as the one I'm looking at, but hopefully close enough to get an idea.

So now I'm feeling optimistic about the one I'm looking at (#5), and I *think* the color's OK for me. Opinions?
Tell it to me straight!

Yeah!!! That's awesome on you and you'll have many different options You can wear it with your new black J Crew dress! If I were you, I'd stick with the Good Will version - it gives the same effect as the one you are thinking about buying.
The color is so, so nice on you!

A woman after my own heart! I love that you went on a try on at Goodwill.

You know, you could almost pull off the cheap version! IF the rest of your outfit was flawlessly current and as fab as usual. I think you can definitely wear yellow. The one you are thinking about ordering looks deeper and more golden and I have a hunch it will even look more spectacular on you. Fun field trip!

Hmmm, I think the yellow jacket you are wanting looks fab, and yellow looks great on you, but I think the Goodwill one is not quite there...I think it's about the lapels being so wide, maybe.

I'm not considering the Good Will version- it was just to get an idea.
It's too big, too 80's, too padded in the shoulders, and has a couple of spots on it.

BUT, it made me think that I may be able to pull off the other one (#5)

So, I just pulled the trigger! It's killing me that I won't get it until March, but 'til then I'm crossing my fingers!
