Take two. Seem to be having ipad troubles, hoping this works.

I really wanted to create WEARABLE outfits from Angie's challenge - so these are a nod to the eras rather than reproductions. As you can see I couldn't resist some fun. Bet you can't guess which one I WOULDN'T wear!!

Right I'm thinking #5 too.
#1 is 80s-90s minimalist. (Yes 80s weren't all about big hair and bright colors.)
#2 is sort of 60s
#3 is early 70s Boho
#4 is 80s avant garde.
#5 is late 70s/early 80s punk
#6 is 30s equestrienne

My favorites are 1, 3 and 4. You always show such great taste.

I think as Denise that #1 is possibly 80s? Could even maybe be 60's a bit like Beatles?

#2 has me a bit stumped...

#3 70's?

Caro, these are great! I'd wear any one of them myself. My favourite is 1, because it looks the most current and I love those shoes.

I'd say all are wearable. My first thought for the odd one out was 5, but it's full of Caro attitude and I can imagine you rocking it on the right occasion (ok, maybe without the braces :P) I wouldn't be surprised if you confound us and tell us it's 3.

I like #1 the best. I thought it was a beatnik which is different from the other fabbers. You look great in all of them.

Great looks, Caro.

1. Either 80s - because of the batwing sleeves, but also looks very 60s to me.

2. 60s again? I'm not sure, but it's lovely!

3. Either 70s or even late 20s/early 30s, when, I believe, kimonos were popular for lounge wear.

4. 80s

5. 70s punk, and I'm guessing this is your odd-one-out, but who knows!

6. I love your current outfit.

I've probably fallen flat on my face with this exercise, and lost any trace of style-credibility, but thanks for keeping us guessing!

Everything CocoLion said. And, #1 is just fantastic on you.

Did you wear looks like #5 at all back in the day? If so, did they fight your natural softness? I think it's interesting -- when one has that softness, yet still wants a bit of edge. To me, #1 achieves that blend to perfection on you. On someone else it might not.

BTW, the hair is KILLER in #5.

You probably wouldn't wear #5, but it's my fave because it's OTT and very early '80s. HAHAHAH. It made me laugh. THE HAAAAIIRRRRRR. Another WOOOHOOOOOOO. You're a good sport.

You look the most at home in #1 and #4. Very-Caro. But I'm loving you in that blue frock too. Stunning colours against your complexion.

Ha, just lost my message, so this will be shorter:

#1: 50s Beat Generation. Required outfit for reading Kerouac and listening to jazz in a smokey coffee house.

#2. Tie-dyed dress and sandals in the 60s

#3. Yve St. Laurent Russian influenced collection in the mid 70s

#4. The Japanese designers reinvent the concept of clothing in the 80s. My personal favorite!

#5. The nihilist punk/grunge rocker of the 80s and 90s-- Doc Martins, piercings, and a whole lot of attitude. Biggest Caro transformation!

ETA: hey, is #5 the "not like the others" because it spans more than a single decade--late 70s, 80s and early 90s. Your interpretations are really interesting because they plot the movement of style through the decades. The monotone darks of the Beat, the loose shapes of the 60s, and the flowing structures of the 80s melded together in the Japanese avant garde designs, which, in turn, paved the way for the creative mashup of the grunge/punk era.

Love them all, but happy to see you survived with your fashion mojo intact in the last pic!

These are great! Gaylene said it all. Particularly interesting how these era all contain elements of your look -- because they were the fashion predecessors of the avant garde? I can't really pick a fav because I like them all!

I really couldn't have guessed the decades without help from the others, but I do love the outfits and their different characters. They still have a coherence, although I would say 5 stands out because it doesn't have the drape and sumptuous ease of the others. It's a fun look, though, and you are a sport for trying something so different and with such style. I really smiled at #1--you look so, so cool in that outfit, and I love the pose.

These are all so beautiful and creative! I love Gaylene's comments, as it reminded me of several fashion moments I had almost forgotten -- those stunning Russian outfits of YSL, Japanese designers like Issey Miyake.
#5 may not be for RL, but it shows your expertise at outfit creation. And it would make a great outfit for a costume party!
