JAileen, it looks fabulous on you, especially with the turtleneck. It seems to be sitting on you better than it does on me. Here are photos I took when I received it (again, excuse sportskirt and summer hair). It doesn't look quite right to me. Did you turn the neckline under? I also tried just now pulling the whole thing forward to create a more asymmetrical look (pics 3 and 4). I think the neckline then looks better on me but it does expose the side seam. Maybe they doesn't matter. What do you think?

I examined your photos closely and tried again! I came up with pic 1, which is close to your pic 6, but looks a bit messy to me. The neckline puffs out quite a bit. It looks a lot sleeker on you in your pic 1 and 2. Then I tried angling the neckline forward a little (pic 2). I quite like this. Pic 3 is achieved by tucking the neckline in at the back (pic 4). It is sleeker (more like yours) but harder to achieve. Which do you like best? I know, I am super fussy

It seems to be sold out now but it is gorgeous. Maybe I'll find it on EBay some day. If it is one size, it may not work for me anyway. I just barely fit into EF's smallest size and sometimes those are too generous.

Thanks Shevia and JAileen. You are right. I am sure I will work it out, especially with wear. And I think I may get to wear mine tomorrow. We are having a little cool patch of summer.

Love your ponchos JAileen. I think you are right that the "cowl thing" is just the nature of the beast with respect to these types of ponchos. I have the one below and it does the exact same thing. I thought it was the combo of my broad shoulders and big bust that was creating the cowl effect... but perhaps not.

Yes... I think it is just the way they drape, JAileen. But they are doing something with the model pics to make it look otherwise. Maybe they are pinning the back to prevent draping... or fashion taping the front. I have decided to just make peace with the drape and, as Shevia says, go on and forget about it. Your two ponchos look amazing on you. I actually like the cowl effect... adds interest.

Brooklyn, I feel like mine hangs more like yours than JAileen's on me. It might, in part, have to do with height? I'm not sure how tall JAileen is, but I know mine doesn't get anywhere near my knees.

I also think ponchos, in general, are better in motion than in photos. The fabric moves with you, we rarely just stand still with our arms at our sides. Put a hand on your hip like all the models and I bet it drapes a million times better.

What a gorgeous poncho! It looks beautiful both on you, JAileen, and on Brooklyn. The cowl does not bother me t all, if anything, it adds extra interest. i also really like the colors of the plaid poncho.

Jenn, you're pretty tall aren't you? I wondered about that. I'm 5'6", so just average. Maybe the additional height makes a difference, but I think it also might be the way it's turned. I have the point a little more centered.

Jenn, yes. I am sure it will look better in motion. I am not sure about the height thing, but I wondered if the fact that JAileen is wearing a thick under layer makes a difference. Mine is slipping off my shoulder a bit - probably because I am wearing a tank top underneath!

JAileen, I didn't end up wearing it today. It is a cool summer day in terms of temperature but I was concerned about humidity (I get sticky fast!). But I think it will be wearable on a cool night in summer, as you mentioned. I am very excited about it as I love ponchos but generally find them a little too thick and warm for my climate.
