It started with the alarm at 5am! Yep. For the first time since the 80's it was a Sunrise service. My kids wanted to experience going to church in the dark, and so off we went! The service was wonderful and the breakfast afterward was yummy.
I wore:
Peplum Jacket, worn unbuttoned (still some shaping that's hard to see here)
VC skirt (not the tube, this one is a sturdier ponte)
Patent belt
sleeveless blouse from Carson's (newish)
microfishnets from No Nonsense
Aerosole Peep Toes

That afternoon, I cooked for 12 at my house, and, despite 40 degree temps, wanted to wear something cool and Springy in the kitchen.
I wore:
ON georgette top
Denizen bootcuts
Metallic flats

OK -- The camera angle is the same and while, yes, I realize I lost the heels, I need to know why I look like I gained 30 pounds BEFORE I ate Easter dinner. I suspect that bootcuts with blousy was a mistake, and the flats didn't help matters. I also plan on moving the buttons on the cuffs, so I can push the sleeves up to my elbows. Is this top hopeless on it's first outing, or can I learn how to style it in more flattering fashion?

P.S. Said photo didn't keep me out of the bunny cake.
