As soon as I read Angie's post about taller ankle booties with boyfriend jeans, I knew I wanted to try the look. And I also wanted to try the toffee, tomato, white, and burgundy look, sans the tomato because I don't have a speck of it in my wardrobe, even in a print.

So I wore this today and thoroughly enjoyed it, even though I suspected that the outfit had too many cuts (at waist and ankle) and wasn't doing me any favors flattery wise. And my legs aren't long to begin with.

What do you think? Could this look be improved upon? Do you ever sacrifice leg length just for the fun of an outfit?
