Apparently I had a primary (ish) color theme going on this week where I was particularly craving bright shades (heavily inspired by my Second Base camisoles); however, I somehow ended up with softer neutral Nordstrom Anniversary Sale picks. How did that happen?

(The intimates that I took home from the sale were quite bright, though.)

1-4, Yellow: That excellent faux-wrap yellow, cream, and gray ikat patterned dress worn with a yellow Second Base camisole underneath. The last two times that I wore this dress, it was with shoes that were more in contrast to the dress and were quite saturated. This time around, I felt like accenting the gray again. It was just over 80 degrees, so I wore my pewter low gladiator wedges and a silver interlaced pendant on a chain, and called it good.

#5-7, or Red Dominant - Primary Colors: Red and white Tahari wrap dress, red Second Base demi-camisole, yellow lace-up slingback pumps, cobalt structured handbag, colorful millefiori glass pendant on a black cord.

#8-11, or Kelly green and turquoise: Kelly green knit fit-and-flare dress; yellow Second Base camisole; multicolored (kelly green, turquoise, black, and white) graphic print silk scarf folded diagonally in half and tied in front, turquoise glass bead and silver wire-wrapped necklace, aqua pumps.
This was my particular favorite once I added the scarf.
