Hi all,

I have just returned from a holiday in Queenstown, NZ.

Attached are photos of the outfits I wore in the evenings. The OTKs got a good workout. They were easy to pack (very bendy) and easy to wear (very flat). All the dresses are old, except the first one which is a recent sale purchase from Metalicus (and still available I think). The jacket I am wearing with it is a waterfall jacket from Decjuba. It is the one I altered with "press studs".

The last outfit is a typical daytime outfit. Enjoyed wearing my big fringy bag. Too cold for flares!

Also included are some gratuitous shots of Queenstown. It is a beautiful place with very friendly people. I highly recommend a visit.

Thanks Carole and KG. Sally, your country is very beautiful. The scenery just flying into the airport was amazing. And yes, I did enjoy the chance to wear wool! I noticed it was a big seller there.

Each outfit more gorgeous and flatting than the last. Just wow! Your finged hobo is perfection and really outstanding with the monochromatic outfit. Amazingly beautiful place - I hope you had a marvelous vacation!!

All of your pieces are wonderful, Brooklyn. The lines on that new dress, and the waterfall jackets, are especially great, and i admire the variety of pattern and texture you have in a mostly-monochromatic travel wardrobe.

We have some friends who moved to New Zealand and visiting them there has been on our list for quite a while, but we've never made it. It looks absolutely beautiful.

Thanks everyone! I did have a great time although I may have over indulged a little. It is a bit of a foodie town. And of course NZ wine is fantastic Jenn, I think the scenery may be similar to Colorado. Lots of rugged mountain ranges and pristine waters. Lovely.

Brooklyn that Metalicus dress looks amazing on you and I love how you have winterized it:) Each outfit is fabulous. You have a very distinct style. Dresses really are your friend:)

As an aside, you know have me quite interested in Decjuba! I am styling a fashion parade of recycled clothing and I have picked up a really cute wool asymmetric top (which I may buy) and a stunning little skirt and jacket (suit) in pink for the parade.

Thanks Helen and Deborah! Deborah, glad you are checking out Decjuba. I like their style and have bought a few things from this year. You probably already know this but if you join their VIP mailing list (free) you get 10% off all full price purchases. I like their mail outs - they show lots of street style photos and suggest items they have that will achieve a similar look. I prefer this to "here's a celeb or well known blogger wearing our stuff" - the more standard approach for Aussie retailers.

I absolutely love #3 and #6!! Beautiful looks on you, and the bag is so fun. I am so jealous you got to visit NZ, that's one of my top 3 must see travel destinations. It's a very very long flight from the states so when I get there, I hope to spend at least a month exploring. Great looks!
