I have decided I love wearing dresses more than anything for work. I bought a new dress in the sales from LK Bennett, wore it today and felt super, with CM jacket and also new bag. High happiness factor.

Then a WIW from last week, yellow jacket, Cos dress, and Liberty scarf outfit (still wet and cold in London). MK bag. High happiness factor.

FOMO drove me to buy these navy boots well ahead of the autumn. They are super and I am tempted to buy the black ones too.

The June dress challenge has taught me I am more comfy in dresses for work. And wearing neat suede boots on or over the knee in the office makes me and my ankles happy.

Thank you Suntiger; I do wish they were OTK but they are super easy to put on and pull off (easier than my black OTK). But I am very pleased with them!

LisaP, thank you so much. I think that I’m lucky in a way with my work being so formal, the parameters are relatively well set out. It’s funny isn’t because I look at your WIW and find them a helpful reference on layers and structure. So it’s a two way thing!

That dress look no less than gorgeous, indeed-love the quirky neckline and ribbed texture! Boots are a dream, and your outfits are always perfect! I'm a dress girl at my heart, too- but switched to more skirts lately by chance only...:-)

New dress is just beautiful and your WIW dress is also lovely. I am very happy to see you on Team Dress, you are definitely a most stylish member of the team and it is great how you and Angie share many similar items. The new bag is gorgeous too!

In relation to the boots and whether to buy them in black, if it were me, I would get them. The heel height is so wearable but I am happy to duplicate when it comes to winners in footwear. I duplicated in these boots about 5 years ago and still enjoy wearing them even though they are essentially the same boot with just different detail.
