Dress challenge: the last week

Finally hot and muggy! (Although I could do without the muggy part.) Which means sandal weather -- woo hoo!!!

Some outfits I wore this past week as the last week of Angie's dress (skirt) challenge. Dresses 1 and 4 are great for muggy days because I can just throw them in the wash. All of the things are old except the rose gold sandals that I bought this year. There is a link in the find.

Pics 4, 5: Magenta faux wrap dress and rose gold (the bangles were a gift from my Aunt from Israel)

Pics 7 to 9: Red and white eyelet skirt for Canada Day on Monday. White slingback sandals (thrifted for $7)

Yes, my Minnie watch is American, but I like Disney and the red strap. I'm getting the long weekend party started early!

Lovely! I like the colours that you wear. It looks like you are mostly wearing natural fibres too? Saturated colours can be hard in natural fibres in summer. Well done.

shevia I don't know who is the jewellery designer, unfortunately. My Aunt was on a pilgrimage with the church. The bangles are very lightweight, I'm not sure what they're made out of, but they're very pretty.

She also brought back a beautiful box similar style to the bangles, but it also has inlaid mother of pearl. Also very lightweight. I'll have to take a picture...

Brooklyn, yes, the green dress is Toad&Co and is made out of organic cotton and tencel which is absorbent and breathability. The magenta dress, t-shirt and skirt are all some sort of cotton blend, all great for hot and muggy.

I have those sandals on my try-on list! They do look great on you, and seem as versatile as I'd hoped...

Thanks Liesbeth! They're very comfortable. I have "regular" to narrow feet and a narrow heel (I guess as Angie says they're low volume feet) although I have fairly high arches. I like that I can adjust how tight they are, but also loosen the opposite strap (the one that doesn't go through the buckle) too.
