I wanted to post this dress for the dress challenge as yesterday was a gorgeous sunny and warm day. Toronto actually reached 25 C (77 F) and it felt like summer, which is such a treat since it has been an unseasonably cool and wet spring.

This London Times dress was purchased at Dillard's in Myrtle Beach in June 2013, which coincidentally coincided with our one-year wedding anniversary. We were there for two weeks and on the same vacation we went to Charleston for the day.
It's a faux wrap, with a bit of ruching on the side and a shoelace tie.

The colours in the dress may seem crazy and hectic (and they are), but that's why I love it, as it reminds me of an artist's palette and represents an infinite number of paintings only limited by the imagination. I happen to have some turquoise jewelry that was acquired before the dress and I like the turquoise and peridot together. Unfortunately, I grabbed the wrong shoe box running out the door, I would have preferred to wear pale pink strappy kitten heel sandals. I don't think the navy heels are too bad, as there is navy in the dress, but I prefer something more neutral.

The outfit reminds me of the ocean, blue skies, palm trees, vivid umbrellas dotting the shore, pink stucco walls, and "rainbow row" in Charleston. Happy memories! Thanks for looking!
