I decided to order and try the Anthro drawstring midi shirtdress, and I thought I'd post for feedback, and also to give a mini review.

The dresses were a little wrinkly from being folded in the packaging, but I actually think they photograph pretty well regardless. The fabric is nice and lightweight and doesn't seem like it will bag out or wrinkle excessively when you sit and stand.

A size 8 fit me well, but with not a lot of room to spare in the hip, so I'd say this dress is TTS. The length is probably going to suit taller ladies very well. I'm 5'7" and all legs, so you see how long this is on me.

I think it's pretty flattering, especially in the solid color, which was a surprise to me because I usually find prints more flattering. I'm showing it here with the drawstring loosely cinched, and then cinched tighter so it fits more closely on my waist, and then completely loose, just so you can see all the options for fit. It lends itself really well to belting.

For me, I think I would want to wear the edgiest shoes possible to "funk up" the long midi length and the traditional style. I prefer the grey for myself, but I'm unsure whether I should commit to this, even though I like it a lot. The question is, will I wear sleeves in summer? One part of me would like to have more sleeved options in summer as long as I'm not sweating to death in them.

What do you think?
