Another vote for the grey, with a slight sinch, and funked up footwear.
I think you'll be surprised by how much you will be able to wear this... as long as you remember you have it :). I have no idea what your summers are like, but restaurants, or evenings on a cooler night, or in the shoulder seasons, can easily need (or take) sleeves.
