Joy, I've been bad about keeping my hair in check, and I need to fix that because you're right, it's an integral part of my style, and I feel better when it's not just thrown into a thoughtless ponytail or bun.
unfrumped and LaPed, it's interesting that you see dramatic. When I think of that word, I think more of something like Katerina's bold, theatrical style, which is so not me.
Style Fan, I see those similarities too, though our hair and skin coloring and, thus, wardrobe color choices are different.
Bijou, I think I want to soften those hard-edge elements even more. I will have to think about this a lot when I update my glasses next, because I kind of like the contrast between my hair and specs, but...
Elizabeth P, yeah, I'm not sure exactly what urban means, When I say it, I mean something along the lines of modern and practical. I can see it being translated as more of a specific aesthetic, though.
Lynn, I like the word "ease" that you used. Better than "relaxed," even. It seems to connote a content sense of self that relaxed might be missing.
rachylou, you remind me that my husband works near the Craftsy.com HQ in downtown Denver and commented that he loves people-watching there, because you can always immediately tell Craftsy employees from the downtown oil execs and programmers.
kkards, organic is tough for me. I relate to it as in "organic shapes and textures" but not so much in the granola connotation, if that makes sense.
smittie, I agree about looking forward, which is why I specifically pointed out photo #1. I feel like it may be slightly more put-together and tailored than I've been in the past, as well as bringing out more feminine elements.
