Do you like my hat?

Very, very hot-a 'heat event' warning is being broadcast. I'm not complaining! With all the time I'm in the sun, a hat is a must (as is high SPF sunscreen). The navy and beige hat was originally bought for a beach vacation 4 years ago, and now gets regular use as a gardening hat. The black straw hat is new. I've never been able to wear a baseball hat but round brimmed hats are up my alley!

'Go Dog, Go!' was a favourite bedtime read for DS's X 2. I can't don a hat without an automatic 'Do you like my hat?'

What hats are you wearing this season? Bonus points for posting a pic.

I love both hats and the dress!! Not familiar with the cartoon sorry. I think a comfy stylish hat is the best summer accessory!! Here is one I wear ( photo couple of years old)

Your hats are great!

Coincidentally today I tried on a couple of dramatic brimmed hats for a potential beach vacation hat. I kind of like these but they’re both a little big. (I had to try them with my sunglasses for effect).

I have a couple of other summer hats. I’ll have to take pics of them tomorrow.

Love your hats, love Go Dog Go! I wear wide brims as much as possible but would really love a packable, non-floppy solution if anyone has any ideas.

Oh, your hats are chic! I like wide brims -- more shade for my freckle-prone skin -- but when I'm striding around town, they tend to catch the wind and blow off. The brims on your hats look like they strike the good balance between fair amount of shade and not gust-catchers. Well done, lovely you!

Great hats! I love a good children’s book reference. GDG is a classic. Great style, you have there! I need to go dig out my summer hats. I have been wearing a baseball cap adorned with bug spray while cleaning up the gardens. I think it is time for something more fashionable.

I really like the black hat, in particular. I have a few summer hats that I’m loath to wear, but they include a giant, purple wide-brim straw hat purchased at a hiking store overseas;
a Lululemon baseball cap that’s water-friendly and accommodates larger heads; and a dressier black straw hat for more formal occasions.

I still read that book to my 4-year old so when I saw your post title I had to click. I don't usually think I look good in hats but my hair seems to be at a good length for hats and I've been wearing them more often this spring/summer. Here's a few recent hat photos.

#1 - Straw cowboy hat. For whatever reason, I associate this hat with water. I always wear it on our annual beach vacation and around our pool.

#2 - Olive cadet hat. I forgot about this hat until recently but it was great for a recent soccer tournament where it was windy the whole weekend. The hat stayed on in the wind and kept my hair contained.

#3 - Panama hat. My parents went to Panama a few years ago and brought this hat back for DH. However, it's too small on him so I occasionally wear it.

Those are great, and I love your styling with both. I have a green canvas hat that I wear in a pinch, but have been thinking of upgrading with one or both of the finds.

Funnily enough I’ve just bought a new summer hat!You look great in yours and they seem very versatile in that they suit the outfits you have shown them with rather than looking like an after thought.
