Do I look like an equestrienne or airline stewardess?

My intention was to go full on equestrian, but with nice light spring colors. Not sure if I achieved that... with the jacket buttoned up, it definitely looks more airline attendant to me.

What do you think? Is it the scarf/turtleneck combo instead of a button down? Or is it my hairstyle? Something else?

This is a lovely combo...I see mostly equestrian but the updo could read stewardess:) but in a good way. I really like these colors together and they are super flattering on you!

I guess I could see stewardess... up do and scarf... but no, definitely equestrian. I love the scarf around the turtleneck. That's brilliant and I'm gonna steal the idea one day. That's a nice jacket.

I definitely see equestrienne more than stewardess. I don't know of any airline where they wear tall boots and riding pants! I guess the little neckscarf is what's giving the stewardess vibe, but I don't think anyone is going to be asking you for tomato juice and ginger ale!

I think everyone is right - the scarf / updo combo could read stewardess, but with the boots, pants, and jacket it is clearly spring equestrian. No worries. You look beautiful!

I really like this color combination on you, and could also see a button up shirt in place of the turtleneck. The pants and boots look very sleek. The only thing I'm getting stewardess from is the tied scarf combined with the hairstyle. I think remove the scarf (which doesn't seem completely necessary with the turtleneck which provides interest on the neck) and you are golden.

Your outfit and your hair both look great, and you are gorgeous in this. I think the scarf may be giving a bit of a stewardess vibe, but I like the color and the way you have it tied so much! Maybe changing the updo to a high ponytail might help loosen it up a little?

It's definitely equestrian for me, and the outfit is lovely on you. I think it's the scarf that gives you the air stewardess vibe, but I probably wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't mentioned it.

Lots of good input, thanks. I think I'm leaning that the hair is what throws this off. The scarf would be fine, especially since I was going for a very Ralph Lauren inspired look. Inspiration photos attached.

I definitely see equestrian, too. But now seeing your inspiration photos, I'm thinking a simple ponytail at the nape of your neck would work beautifully.

Definitely equestrienne! The pants, the boots, the jacket, the updo, the belt---all perfect. I think the hiccup is two-fold: 1)lack of sufficient contrast between the scarf and turtleneck, and 2)the pastel pink doesn't quite read right on my computer screen. I'd like to see it with something darker: navy/black, etc. or a white button-down and scarf with brown/navy/burgundy etc. All you need is a crop! (and a pony)

It's the scarf that's making you think 'airline stewardess'. Otherwise, the outfit looks super-duper English-style equestrian to me. You look like a gal who's wandering around in search of her horse.

So funny ... this is from yesterday's Man Repeller, among a list of "wanted items" for spring, the scarf below, and the caption reads: "I want to tie mine like a 1950s du-wop airplane stewardess, you know?"

Looks like even if you are rocking the flight attendant vibe, you might be onto something.
