Hi I'm still looking at these. I've measured my feet standing, with both big toes next to the tape measure with my heel against the wall, they seem to be almost exactly 23 cm long on both feet, which is not quite 9 inches on the other side of the tape measure. And I've looked at the sizes of all my shoes. There is only one 35, loafers which needed stretching, one 35/36 which is jandals ( flip-flops), nothing squeezing the feet, rest mostly 36s. Nordstrom's size chart actually says 36 is a 6, and it says that a 6.5 is a 36.5. I saw that about 3 of my shoes are 37s, which also fit me. Of the UK brand shoes, of which I have three all Clark's, the sandals are a 3, the Oxfords are a 4 and just a titch tight to get on though fine to wear, and the low heels are a 4.5 D. A US 6.5 is a UK 4.5 according to Nordstrom's. As the Steve Madden's fit well as a 6.5, and they are the closest in style to these boots, I'm thinking I'd be best to try a 6.5 as more of the reviews said they ran small? If they were 6.5 running small then that might be just right. The 37 ( US 7 according to Nordstrom) in Jeffrey Campbell that I tried just over a year ago

were definitely too big because I remember being very sad!
What do you think? 6.5? Do Nordstrom items ship from Seattle or elsewhere? There is no 6 or 6.5 on Amazon sadly, but there is at Nordstrom. I think, you know, if they are as pictured I could easily wear them 40 times over a couple of years to get to under $5 per wear, because I essentially wear boots for about 6 months at least, April-October and often later, then mostly go straight to sandals. And as well as my olive snakeskin pants I have a lot of other olive things including tops and a long cardigan.
I appreciate all your help and thank you in advance for putting up with hearing the cm and inches measurement of my feet!
