Did anyone try the r&b tweed jacket?

Are we ever really "done" with NAS? I thought after I ordered the Cinq a Sept Adrienne skirt in two sizes to match the khloe jacket that I was officially done....that is until I caught sight of the Rag & Bone Carmen tweed jacket. I have been looking for a tweed jacket and the Khloe is nice but super heavy for cotton. The Carmen looks more 4 seasons and thin but has a lining. Has anyone seen or tried this on IRL? Reviews say sleeves run long. It's ordered but not shipped. Just wondered if there was any intell on it. Thanks. (will report back when it arrives)

Yes! I saw it, Gryffin. Did not try it on a body, though. Lightweight.

And yes, the sleeves did look long on the hanger. You can hem them and loose the frayed edge, if that's of interest

Angie - Thank you. I like my sleeves long and I like the fringe. Hoping it works. Will report back.
Suz - Most of my jackets are traditional length to long because I absolutely favor long over lean. But with bootcut pants, skirts or dresses I often need a cropped jacket. Easier to find in lady sweaters. I bought the Vince last year at NAS and it gets high weekend wear. The JCrew is swacket weight. But I wanted something less traditional than my usual blazers but dress enough for work and dressier than the sweaters. This looked like it would hit the criteria is it fits. But no it’s not my usual!
Firecracker - Thank you. I missed that. Sleeves by that photo should probably hit me base of thumb, as Staysfit is taller but I have proportionally long arms. Will just have to wait as it’s shipped. But I’m excited to try it on.

I tried it in a different color, army. It’s too short for me but the sleeves were long enough for my long arms when ordered in a size 6. My typical R&B size varies between 4&6. It’s very nice. Soft and lightweight tweed. I returned it but I believe it was lined. It has two flap pockets on front. The material on the army was probably the nicest tweed I have seen in terms of its softness and drape. It’s not for tall 5’9” ladies like me, but I remembered you are shorter than me and just saw on your other NAS post that you are ~6” shorter so I suspect it would have very long sleeves for you and I’m not sure how cropped it would be. I do not suit cropped in much of anything unless it is cropped to empire waist length.

If I recall, you also have the Dalby leather jacket. It was also too short for me, but very nice for anyone who might be interested in a leather jacket with silver metal.

Staysfit - Thank you for chiming in. That’s really helpful. Great that the fabric is nice. That’s key. I’m 5’3”. Actually I donated the dalby. It was actually too long and unflattering in the body and replaced it with the more cropped Elora and the Iro Asheville. I’m not short waisted by measurements. I think I’m short in the rise with long arms and legs. So body length should be good. Hopefully sleeves not too long but I like them long or bracelet. Not in between. Proportions are so tricky. Something I need to pay attention too otherwise I make costly mistakes. But thank you. That was really helpful. Hope you are enjoying your navy VB leather blazer twin!
