L'Agence Channing Stretch Cotton Cargo Pants- I really like these except they have an orange bleached splotch on them. They do not have another pair in my size (28).
2. Frame Le Mini Boot Split Hem Bootcut Jeans and a Caslon long-sleeved crew neck tee.
4. Lafayette 148 NY Floral Lantern Sleeve Silk and Linen top with the Frame Split hem bootcuts
5&6. Rag &Bone Carmen Fringe Trim Tweed Jacket - army, not in sale but sale does have this in a different color. I tried it closed and open. Sleeves are plenty long. Is it too short for me? Styled with Madewell the 90's High Waist Straight Leg Jeans (Ferman)
7. Dani shirt and Madewell jeans
8. Madewell Jeans with Farm Rio tropical graphic tee...is the tee too bright?
9. Nordstrom Stripe Long Sleeve Button Up Shirt and Madewell jeans. This shirt is long and large on me in size small so it's for someone tall. I am keeping because I like it.
10. Dani Chain Print Silk Button Up shirt. I like both Dani shirts.
11. Nordstrom Long Sleeve Wool and Casmere Sweater Dress, worn with my SW OTK boots. I like this, it's soft and a bit oversized without feeling too large.
12-15 Allsaints Dalby Leather Biker Jacket. I'm on the fence. The size 6 sleeves were too short. The size 8 is baggy around my torso causing it to wrinkle. What do you think. I only show the full view of the 8 with clothing layered underneath. It's large enough for several layers.

Please excuse my messy hair. I was in NYC yesterday and it was very hot and the I woke up early and flew home today, so i didn't really do anything with my hair.

Wow - what a great NAS you are having. You look fabulous in these.

The outfit in #2 is my favourite, that blue colour is sublime on you. I also love the sweater dress, elegant and chic. Those silk patterned shirts are stunning on you and all the jeans and pants are a great fit. Hopefully you can get the cargo pants in your size as stock gets returned.

The things I would return:
1. Tweed jacket - I don't like the army colour on you - the style and fit of the jacket are lovely.
2. #15 shows that the leather jacket is too big. Such a shame because it is so close to being perfect, but a leather jacket needs to really fit well or be slightly snug initially as leather gives a bit. You can do better!

What I am on the fence about:
1. T-shirt - it is bright and so I wonder if you will actually wear it... that said, I like it and think it would be fun layered under a jacket - which would temper the brightness.
2. Shirt in #9, I prefer length of the silk shirts on you.

The dress looks like a keeper to me, particularly considering your reasons for orderint it and your climate.

I really love the leather jacket, too. Is it too big? I am not sure. The shoulders look right to me? And it is a gorgeous jacket. Having said that -- where and how do you envision wearing it?

I love the silk blouses on you -- if you have a need.

Caslon tee is a fabulous colour for you and the jeans look good. It's a pity about those Cargo pants!! I hope your size comes back into stock in a non-damaged version.

Lafayette top is also lovely on you.

I really like the style of the Rag and Bone jacket. I don't think it is too short for you if wearing with a high waisted item -- I might wear it more with skirts/ dresses and high waisted trousers than with jeans. I can't tell about the colour for you. How does it feel in person?

There are a lot of great finds for you here, Staysfit.

I especially like Frame splilt-hem jeans, the silk blouses, the silk-cotton top, and the Rag & Bone jacket on you. All great fits and they look terrific.

I think the bright tee is super fun, too. Personally I find a bright color like that fun to wear in the summer, even if it is not my usual style. I would pair it with white shorts or cutoffs, maybe layer a navy or white cardi or v-neck cotton sweater, or a jean jacket over it sometimes.

I wonder if the Nordstrom stripe shirt in XS would be worth a try for comparison; it might still have the over-sized vibe that is appealing about the style.

I like the style of the Madewell jeans on you. Are they a little long in the rise in front?

I vote yay on the Rag & Bone jacket. Doesn't look too short to me. Nice fit, and I do like the color on you.

The sweater dress looks cozy and lovely with your hair.

I don't really see the fit issues with the leather jacket. It looks good to me, but I defer to your judgment of it in real life. If it's too big you won't feel fab in it.

The dress in picture 11 is more than five stars -- really fantastic on you. Looks great with your height and hair. Modern and easy and smart looking.

Love both jackets. The R&B is a great length, but if you’re concerned about the length, I’d definitely try it on with the pants and dresses you’re thinking of wearing it with. I personally think the leather jacket fits well
Of the blouses and shirts, my favorite is navy link in #10. I don’t think the tee in #8 is too bright, but I must say, I’m not used to seeing you in such casual clothing.

I see that I’m in the minority but I don’t love the way the dress in #11 fits. I’ve seen you in much better.

Firecracker, I have a long rise, so the jeans are not feeling too high however they may not create the most proportional look. I more often wear midrise jeans and do not tuck my top to “fake” better proportions. Also, thanks for the suggestions for styling the bright pink tee. I plan to try them. I also tried it on with my red leather moto jacket. The red is softer than the tee and maybe it works. I will try to post a picture later.

Suz, the split hem jeans are a replacement for the exact same jeans purchased last year at the time of NAS. I purchased one size up from my usual last year and this year also, They are a bit loose in the waist so I may see if I can order them in my typical size for comparison, I suspect they will be too tight for me in the legs.

CocoLion, I strangely like this dress despite it being a bit oversized. I am not typically one to wear oversized garments however, this is proportioned so it is not too overwhelming for me.

KKards, I agree, my daily wear has become more casual. I still enjoy wearing my dressier items yet I am trying to find a new balance between looking professional enough with more functionality for the setting in which I work.

You look beautiful in those clear colors. I really love the Dani tops, the Caslon top, and the Farm Rio tee. I don't think the red is too bright, and I think that it looks really cute on you!

I think the jeans and pants all work well, so if you're still after the L'Agence pants, I hope you can stalk down another pair in your size. Shame about the bleach spot. The sweater dress is very cute as well!

The two things giving me pause are the jackets. I want so much to love the Allsaints leather jacket - it looks great open, but closed, it looks too big. And a little too short, for the roominess, when it's closed. To my eye, anyway.

The Rag & Bone jacket... I love the fit for you, and I love it styled with the brighter color tops! And I know that more cropped jackets are coming back in. BUT. I also know that every time I have ever bought a shorter jacket, there is a back and forth in my mind every time I put it on, and it's 50-50 whether I'll wear it, or swap it for something else in my closet. I think you should play with it, take pictures, and listen to what your gut says. It is super-cute, though!

I love the bright pink top! But then I love brights and I love pink, so there’s that. I think the Dani tops look great, so does the long striped shirt. You might try the shirt in a smaller size, but i think the size you have looks fine. I don’t think the moto jacket looks too big in the size 8, but if it feels too big you might not wear it so I’d think about that before making a final decision.

I love love love the hot pink top, but then I own two hot pink t-shirts so I may be biased. It looks so cute on you, and would be great with white pants or shorts. I also really like the olive jacket, I think it looks super with your hair. The split hem jeans are terrific. I really have no opinion on the leather jacket; I think that's such a subjective thing that you need to sit with it and decide whether you love it or not.

Favorites are 4,5,7,10 and 11, no opinion on the jeans and as to the rest, I think you could do better.

Karie, I ordered the tee in both size small and medium because I fall in the middle. I also ordered two sizes of the Madewell jeans and the Dalby jacket. I may do a size comparison post if I have time.

Staysfit, I waited to comment from my desk top so that I could see the pics bigger, and more clearly. Here's my 2 cents:

First, your silver mop of waves is awesome!

I have both those exact silk blouses from L'Agence, and wear them roomier. I'm wondering if you'd like to compare a size up? That would give you more length too. They look a bit short for that type of silhouette, and the V-neck is pulling a bit.

Love the tee and jeans in #2! Gorgeous fits and colours! Jeans need a slight hack - and you're good to go.

Blouse in #4 - Fashionably KILLER.

Return the tweed jacket - too short - and the bleach blotched pants - URGH! So annoying

I like the bright tee! Watermelon suits you.

I’m glad you like the shirt in #9. I really like it and cut the tags and washed it already.

Goodbye to the jackets. I would love a tweed jacket in a good for me neutral but the R&B is not it. The Dalby was attractive because of the silver metal. The fit is wrong and I’m not convinced I like the collar. I would prefer something thinner and more vertical.

Cargo pants in one of my neutrals remain on my wish list….

I ordered the Dani top in a large and it was too large. I’m returning the tops. I’m getting very picky about fit and proportion. I had DH take photos front and back of both sizes and do not like how either of them lie or work with my shoulders. I am keeping the Nordstrom striped tunic button shirt, and also the Lafayette 148 NY blouse.

Two blouses added to my collection and I am happy. Keeping the Tropical tee, I love the color and have decided that I do suit watermelon.

I’m also keeping the Madewell jeans which are comfortable and seem to fit well, The Frame mini split boots are a little different from last years version. The split is longer, they are stretchier and don’t fit me in the waist or hips as well, I’m still considering whether I will keep them. They may shrink in the wash. They need a hack to wear with my shorter footwear, however, I also ordered the light blue square toe booties Angie posted in the blog. They had one pair left in my size, so I am planning try them on with the jeans and then will consider hacking to a length that works with them.

Also purchased this year at NAS, some undies, bras and PJ’s which did work well. Overall, an unexpectedly good haul despite so many returned items.
