I'm been in a hole recently -- more like a study cubby -- as I prepare for my music therapy board exam.
Angie's ensemble post was perfect for my "take my books to Starbucks or McD's" fashion capsule! Here are two of my versions, using what's in my closet. My denim jacket (Kohls, last season), isn't as 90's inspired, but, while it's slightly cropped, it does swing away on the midsection, which it not visible in my low-light photos. I like that about it -- it's an easy fit, while still structured on the shoulder line.
I'm searching for a soft white woven top, preferably sleeveless, for Summer! It's one of my HEWIs
The shoes in #2 are older, and I thought I purged them in the move. With the popularity of block heels, I'm glad I kept them. I bought them, inspired by Angie's ladylike footwear, during my first year on YLF. They are Naturalizers. I wore this look to teach from home.
I couldn't attach finds for a couple of items -- the feature isn't working well on the Kohls site at the moment!
1. Denim Jacket (Kohls
White T
Lee Pine-green cargos (color and details are lost in the low light)
Sole Sensability Slip-Ons (Kohls, also in black, very comfy)
2. Switched out ON black Pixies
Naturalizer block heeled pumps
3. Close up on necklace and pumps.
Thanks, Angie!
