Denim on denim

Angie’s post reminded me of my denim on denim outfit from last year - Rag & Bone denim cropped shirt and Levi’s jeans. I don’t have the jeans anymore, bought a new pair, straight cut, longer and thinner. Also from Levi’s. Can’t wait for the warm weather.

I loved that outfit. The shirt is fabulous! Tell us about the new Levis! They look kind of like 90s jeans...are they not cropped? I thought you didn't like full length on you?

The jeans are fab! They look very summery and even beachy! Easy wear... and in summer you can get the structure you crave from lower vamp footwear or sandals, sleeveless or shorter sleeve, various other styling tricks. And then if the length drives you nuts you can always crop them later!

But I think it will be a fun change. For myself, I have really enjoyed having both options. I love crops (especially in warm weather, but also in cooler temps with the right high shaft boots). But I also sometimes like the line of a full length pant. I do find that I may choose different tops or look for other ways to add structure or contrast or angles when I am wearing full length.

Suz, you are so right about having opinions. This is why I wanted to continue searching for full length jeans. These are 21% lyocell, definitely summer weight denim.
