Such wisdom in Angie’s response on Sisi’s recent minimalism thread. For years before and for the first few years on YLF I could not manage my wardrobe. I bought too much and kept too much. Finally, after over 5 years, things are slightly skewing the other way. I am getting a bit bored. I have some refreshes but not many because I am still trying to wear everything!
So I tried a new idea- what if I just saw what serendipitously caught my eye at thrift stores? Then maybe if the items didn’t work out so well I wouldn’t need to worry about #30 wears and could just donate them back?
Of course what caught my eye turned out to be my default-long over lean really. Outdated. I “don’t care- (I’m) not caught up in your love affair”. It is a sample from SS2015 season, NZ made, a weird cross-over at the back so needs a cami or layering top underneath.
But $4! I think it’s really pretty and so am pleasing myself.
