Ok, here is Day 3

The retrospective photo is the last one. Some thoughts about it: this was an interesting one, all the way back in 2011. LOL, soooo long ago. I remember being very much in love with this cardigan, with its delicate knitted ruffles around the deep V-neckline. That made it interesting on top of ordinary at the same time (being dullish grey colour) and served one purpose I was trying to work around that time - "lifting" up my shoulder line. As a pear, I wanted to learn to balance things out.

I still have this cardigan, btw, and still love it, although I don't wear it very much. But, as busy and whimsical as it is for my current preferences, it is still interesting to me and I have some ideas how to wear it.

For today's outfits (I went out twice and used to opportunity for two experiments) I wanted to step back from it though, but at the same time stay within the same parameters as at the beginning - wearing red with grey and balancing out the pear shape. (You can tell I'm waiting for Angie's updated list how to dress pear shape body )

I chose the sweater with my favourite type of neckline and striped grey midi skirt as the base. Initially I tried greyish hose, but they did not feel right and were too similar shade to the skirt, so I switched to black ones.

Outfit 1 has no underlayer but red sweater only.

Outfit 2 has the same lace underlayer as in 2011. As that kept things rather busy, I opted for the black sweater. It's more exact copy because of the underlayer, which is the one thing I carried over from the original outfit.

Btw, the lipsticks are different, both matching the red shade I'm wearing. I am not sure if you can tell and if you have preferred one.

I'm also showing the rest of the outfit with the scarf and jacket for the first option.

Any thoughts?
