It was kind of an effort to get my Day 3 outfit together. Lots of distractions. I couldn't quite figure out how to work my first plan, so I decided to go for texture: knit, bulkier knit, faux leather, wide-wale corduroy and shiny gold earrings.
Last autumn I decided I needed some off-white tops in my closet. I found a couple, a Paige ls tee with a fancy neckline, and a v-neck Treasure and Bond cotton sweater, ivory with cinnamon sleeves. Because the weather soon turned cold I didn't wear them, and even though it's cold today, I did it. Also wore the faux leather pants I got from BR a few months ago. They are very stretchy and not as warm as I thought they'd be. With some Ecco slip ons. Later changed to New Balance for outdoors.
I pulled out my Boden corduroy jacket when I went outside.
I also got out a pair of gold earrings bought sometime in the 80s. They are 1 1/4" vertical and about 3/4" horizontal. 14k gold, but formed from a very thin sheet and they are hollow inside, so not heavy--just a fraction of an ounce. I have another pair, double circles, for another day. I went years/decades without wearing these.
The last photo is of a painting my SIL did from a photo of our 2 cats as still not full grown, doing cat stuff lying on the newspaper. Sharkie and Jett.
