Daughter's new haircut

Sorry I have not been posting much! My daughter turns 18 in 2 days and for her birthday she wanted to get her hair cut and colored by my hairdresser. We went today. She had a foot of hair cut off, which she is donating to Locks of Love.

I think she looks absolutely amazing - more grown up, but also not too grown up. Age appropriate. Perfect for upcoming college interviews. Polished, but still fun. And bold - which is her style. She's always been a style risk-taker.

Great haircut. I love the colours that have been put in. She will have fun putting new looks together to go with the hairstyle.

Can you all see that? It says "hidden from other people." This is the first time I've used the photo feature. Okay, only one says "hidden" - weird! What's up with that?

Shiny, the third photo says no longer available, which is likely the one you see showing as hidden. Your DD is such a beautiful young woman! How wonderful of her to donate to Locks of Love. It's very popular in this area, isn't it. Quite a few middle schoolers and high school students do it in our town.

And how special that she wanted to go to your hairdresser for this. She must think you look pretty darn good, mama!

I should mention that the skirt and jacket are mine... well, no longer! She started borrowing them both a year or so ago, and she looks so much cuter in both, I gave them to her. Bebe jacket, ATL skirt. Belt and tank are hers. (And bows - she's big into hair bows lately).

Senior year is always so fun, dramatic, and expensive!

(for pics that are suddenly hidden from view - sometimes that happens if *you*, the poster, click on the photo and accidentally click the "hide from" view button. You need to go back to that photo and find the other button that lets it be seen again. I can't remember the wording but if you move over the photo slowly, you should see it. . . )

Wow, that is a HUGE change! I love her big, glowing smile. Her new cut & color look fantastic. It's a cut that complements her beauty rather than taking over & "wearing" her instead.
If I didn't already have a (shorter) cut I love, and were slightly wary of full bangs, I would absolutely ask my hairdresser to copy this next time.

WOW! Your daughter looks so beautiful! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the cut! Donating her hair- what a wonderful thing for her to do.....she's lovely inside and out! ADORE the color as well...mine was about that shade when I was in my teens and 20's, but has now gotten darker and getting a few bits of grey...makes me hopeful when I take the plunge to dye it...I'll be thrilled if it looks half that good!
