I got dressed today without thinking about Angie’s blog post but later realized that I dress in dark neutrals almost as a matter of course. Jewel tones are my next most common color choice.
Today I wore AG Harper straight jeans and an old but still beloved sweater — by Aiko from maybe 8 years ago. The sleeves are accented with white leather panels and I’ve always loved that, even though it makes me treat this sweater more delicately than I otherwise would.
I added the McQueen scarf, and dark burgundy patent boots. I had to go out to the store for my husband’s birthday cakes (yes, two!) and because it was rainy and cold I wore the new seafoam puffer.
My hair grow out is starting to look really rough again. I need to learn how to cut my own hair with layers. And clearly I’ve not bothered with makeup. LOL
Bonus pics from his birthday dinner. Steaks on the grill, grilled asparagus, and roasted baby potatoes. Two flavors of cake! No wonder I’ve gained weight. I’ll get a grip now that the holidays are officially over.
