I've started adding a small amount of grey to my wardrobe in the past year with a pair of grey wool flannel pants and with this Hope for Flowers dark floral midi skirt. I could have gone with a plain black top, but I like a little more visual interest, i.e. pattern mixing. I went with a pin dot grey button-down shirt that looks like a solid neutral from a distance. The sleeveless black merino top is a perfect layering piece and gives a 70s retro schoolgirl vibe.
