Dansko Veda's came

Firstly, I am so glad I got purple and not the navy. My BF said I should wait to show them in daylight to show the true awesome color lol. For now, this will have to do.
Intended as work shoes with skinny jeans as shown. Good silhouette? Clunky?

Ok I did have a major poison eye for this style. But on you they work. Color me surprised.

Suz, yes! So far, anyway. I have a weird 2nd ankle on my feet and the cut is low enough that it doesn't rub on it like some shoes do. I will wear them around the house tomorrow but I am 99% sold. If anything, heel slippage would be the only issue I could see arise.

Maybe a little clunky but in an adorable fun way! I also am glad you got the purple. It goes with their fun, not trying to be sleek or serious, vibe!

What Anna said. Like them from this angle, at least. I would like to see a full body shot to be sure, but so far they are working with the skinnies. Fun color!

I'm glad they are getting (even somewhat clunky) thumbs up. Claire, they are canvas and rubber, so I imagine they are washable. I might prefer to spot clean, though.
Rae, I hear you on the angle thing. I was half in my PJ's, so didn't want to share ha ha.

I know that Dansko Professionals are designed to have heel slippage. At least, that's what the sales associate told me! When your heel can move freely, something comfy, blah blah?? Anyway, I hope they work out for you in the long run, comfort wise.

I have been anxiously awaiting pics of your new Vedas. They look great! So glad you went with the purple. I know how tough it can be to find a good standing and walking shoe for a work shift, and I think these totally make the cut. I might have to get some for myself! Do you find the canvas durable? Like, tougher than a Con or Keds?

I, too, think they're a very cool find and great for your purposes...just wondering if you'd consider changing the laces to something less bright? My daughter has some knee-high Cons and changing the laces from white to something lower contrast (in her case it was to grey) added something to the whole look. Just a thought. In any case, work shoes that are comfortable, supportive, AND fun are a win!
