The customer service we receive in the US is sublime - it's a reason to move here. Truly.

Two packages went missing that UPS stated they had delivered. Citron Teddie pants and some narrow white sandals. I called J.Crew and Zappos this morning and the reps were AMAZING. Very professional, apologetic, 100% refunded without question, new orders shipped for next day delivery, AND a discount coupon for my next order. It doesn't get better than that.

BIG shout out to J.Crew and Zappos for their excellent customer service.

Great to hear! I worked CS at Nordstrom for years so I truly appreciate good customer service. I will not shop at stores where the service is not good!

Some of the customer services places are awesome. It all depends in what store and the type of dispute. I have always had great luck with customer service experiences however my sister hasn't always had the same luck. I guess it depends on the store and the person on either end.

Have not ordered from J.Crew, but have had wonderful experiences with Zappos. They are the best! Glad to hear that your problems were handled with grace and efficiency.

I have had this experience as well with ShopBop. However, they reported the incident to UPS as a loss, and UPS insisted I had to sign for every package in person for a year after that even though there was no way it was stolen. That was very annoying to me and my driver who had to make multiple trips to the house.

I love good customer service. I recently had a bunch of tees from Costco that I hadn't put into rotation, and now know I never will, and was about to donate. A friend said I should try to return them... so I did. They took them all, all purchased between 2010 and 2014!!

As an aside, I'm curious about the colour of these pants, and the fact you call them citron. Have you seen them? Only asking because on my screen they look full on yellow, no "hint of green" to be seen. I'm always interested in how colours differ in real life and my on my monitor...

Nordstrom's returns policy is amazing.

Anything can happen with a package. I received one that I finally figured out was from Zappos. It wasn't for me, even though somehow my address was put on it at some point in it's travels. It had been lost in the mail for months and even been to China. Zappos was surprised when I called.

I cannot believe that you are ordering a second pair of sandal. What is going on? Is Seattle really that warm this year? We are experiencing a rainy and cold spring here in the Mid Atlantic region.

I am still smarting (a little) over a much less good experience with Zara customer service last year...they refused to believe that a package had not been delivered. Eventually they refunded the money but I never got the items I'd wanted. And it took much argument and hassle. It was sad, since their delivery service is generally so fast and reliable. I haven't actually ordered from them since. (Though I know I will again.)

Haven't experienced J Crew online, but I Zappos customer service is fabulous.

Lisa, I love Canada and can understand why you don't want to leave Wish I could figure out a way to live there myself.

Good to hear others are having great customer service experiences too. Trust me when I tell you this would not happen in other parts of the world.

Zappos was VERY fast to see my social media shout out. In a matter of minutes they were there to say how happy they were that things worked out.

catseye, I'm not going to keep a second pair of sandals. I'm ordering these to compare them to the Shellys. I haven't worn the Shellys yet, and I'm figuring out why.

Angie now you have me "as curious as a kitten" as you would say about the Shellys. I wonder why you are not wearing? Because you just prefer a closed toe shoe? Because they are not comfy? Something about the straps? I know you have had the weather to enjoy them this year.

I still haven't worn any of my new sandals but that is because it has not warmed up (until yesterday...and the weekend is supposed to be rainy and 8C).

I love those Shellys so if you decide you need to offer them on the style exchange....

Angie--I am also interested to hear your conclusions about the Shellys. I haven't worn mine yet either. I purchased them specifically to wear with white flared crops...the ankle straps, block heel--it should all work?

I was quite appalled by the lack of service in the Netherlands and the UK last year on our one month holiday - probably because I've gotten SOOO used to the very best customer service here in the US.

Suz, catseye and BieN, I'm still working that out. We have absolutely had and continue to have glorious weather. The white Shellys look good on my feet, and fit surprisingly well. And they are comfortable. No rubbing. Easy to pull on and off with the back zipper too. They also work well with my assortment of crops. I think they might be too heavy. I like to wear lightweight shoes - so I'm giving the Naturalizers a go. But I might keep the Shellys instead. Will keep you posted.
