I love how it's lean, short, and minimal. Already my one-year-old Sam Edelman jacket (pic 2) seems like too much, with the quilting and gold zips.

No wish list pix but I've been exploring my delicate side - as opposed to what a very old male friend once termed my Mickey Spillane side. So I'd like some items in pale blush. Shoes? Fitted firmly woven shirt that shows hourglass? Short blazer but not of the thick plush wool you usually see. Maybe leather.

ETA: I just added some jeans in this pale color - not skinnies because that would be too much starlet wannabee even for me. They changed my whole direction of my wardrobe.

Very helpful thread for me. I can see that the one item I don't want in that delicate color is the most obvious one - soft sweater. I'm picturing structured items not classically offered in that color.

I have the same dream for 3 years now: white straight leg jeans which are full length and perfect fit and midi length winter coat which is not black.

I'd like to be able to buy a wool coat in sumptuous fabric, with a modern, looser silhouette with a low stance in the lapel. In teal, ink blue or burgundy.

I'd like to be able to upgrade 2 pairs of black boots and a couple of bags and not look at the price tag. Actually, there was a Dooney & Burke satchel I loved for $398. Move the decimal, and I'm in!

A fab pair of mid-height (mid-calf or tall booties) moto boots, probably in a shade of rich brown leather. Something with a vibram or rubber sole, and rugged.

A nice toggle closure wool peacoat with a hood, navy or a dark plaid.

I'd have to say a perfect wool winter coat in a longer length (not too long!) in one of my colors -- teal or cobalt blue. Seems to be very difficult to find!

Well, I'm just going to be a big ol' copycat today because my dream items have already been voices by others:
The Rockstuds in the new Nordstrom catalog are blue - swoon!
JAileen - yes - a jacket like that one with petite length sleeves, please.

Right now:
1) a pair of replacement boots for riding with my partner; mine are on their last legs, and I am absolutely gutted.

2) a narrow leather blazer, with front flap pockets. My last one was my grandma's, and I wore it until the leather gave way in the elbows and the seams all pulled out. This has been on the wish list for a few years now, actually.

No idea how it would actually look on me, but I need a new winter coat and love the looks of this one. I can't wear wool collars directly on my neck. I always need a non-itchy barrier and am tired of wearing scarves. A coat like this might work since it has the insert. I just love the color, too.
